Specialising in reinforced concrete frames, groundworks, enabling works and complex basement structures, they have built a reputation for quality, reliability and long-term client relationships.

The company is now seeking a talented Planner to join their Pre-Construction team, following the upcoming retirement of a long-serving colleague. This role offers genuine long-term career stability within a financially secure business that continues to grow through reinvestment and repeat work.

The Role

Working closely with senior leaders, you will support tender and design-stage planning for technically challenging projects across London and the South East. Key elements will include:

• Developing accurate and logically sequenced programmes for RC frames, basements, groundworks and enabling works
• Influencing construction methodology and build strategy at bid stage
• Producing supporting planning documentation for tender submissions
• Collaborating with estimators and operational delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Engaging with clients and stakeholders to communicate programme requirements
• Preparing programmes using Asta Powerproject (training can be provided)

What We’re Looking For

• Planning experience within construction or civil engineering — ideally with exposure to RC frame and groundworks projects
• Strong understanding of buildability, sequencing and logistics
• Experience supporting tenders or live project delivery
• Competency with planning software — Asta Powerproject preferred but not essential
• Confident communicator who can work collaboratively across multiple disciplines
